[…] it’s not that she doesn’t feel the same because she does. She likes you, but -personally, I believe everything has it’s duration. So much time has passed— nothing has changed (like she had hoped by now) and she’s settled with that. She’s fine. She deals with it. She’s content, but not happy. In a sense, she’s checked out. She’s still there. She’s present, but she’s not going to try to win you over anymore.
I don’t know how to explain it. You still have her, but if this continues you’ll lose her. Because if you really cared, you would know this and not have to write me asking this question. If you were really her friend things would have been different. If you really liked her, this wouldn’t be the situation that it is…
That’s why she’s different. That’s why she’s acting the way she’s acting. That’s why she has those thoughts in her head. The difference is that she cares enough about you and your friendship to let you know.
I’m sorry that girls are confusing, but the only reason is because you’re confusing them. My advice, make up your mind before she does. Because she may be present and still there, but if she has checked out like I think she has… she won’t be there for long.
Plus, she’s a girl that’s been strung along and knows it… she probably has a guy in the back waiting (because shoot, I would. hahaaaa!).
